The new Bentley Flying Spur

The new Flying Spur adorns our showroom.

Sporty and elegant at the same time

At the heart of the vehicle is Bentley's 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which has a peak output of 550 hp (404 kW) and reaches its maximum torque of 770 Nm at just under 2,000 rpm with the help of twin-scroll turbochargers.

To maximise fuel economy, the V8 can deactivate four of its eight cylinders when a torque of less than 235 Nm is required under light load and the engine speed is below 3,000 rpm. The occupants are unaware of this process - with a switchover time of around 20 milliseconds (a tenth of the duration of the blink of an eye).

The Flying Spur V8 is 100 kg lighter than the W12 version, making the vehicle feel more dynamic and spirited and giving it a character all of its own. The new model features the latest generation of drivetrain and chassis: Adaptive Air Suspension, Torque Vectoring by Brake, Vehicle Dynamics Control and Electronic Steering are all available as standard. In addition, Bentley's innovative 48-volt active roll stabilisation (Bentley Dynamic Ride) and electronic all-wheel steering can be ordered to further enhance the vehicle's agility.

Contemporary design

The clean lines, flowing shapes and balanced proportions of the new Flying Spur ensure a confident appearance. The expressive design includes a new matrix grille with vertical slats, headlights with a crystal-cut effect, 21-inch wheels with ten double spokes and light-coloured paintwork as standard and a new, illuminated Flying B radiator grille as an option.

Innovative technology

The new Flying Spur incorporates a host of innovative technologies that enhance the driving experience and enable the driver and passenger to personalise their journey. My Bentley connected car features, including Apple CarPlay®, satellite maps and vehicle status available via the My Bentley app, provide a seamless connection to your car and your surroundings. Meanwhile, intelligent safety systems such as a Local Hazard Alert system and Private eCall add confidence.

Our whistleblower system

Compliance with legal regulations, internal rules, the principles of our Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for Business Partners is a top priority at Porsche Holding Salzburg. The success of our company is based on integrity and compliance. In order to live up to this claim, it is important to learn of possible misconduct by our own employees or those of our suppliers and to prevent it. We have therefore commissioned the Central Investigation Office to operate an independent, impartial and confidential whistleblower system for us.

An important pillar of our whistleblower system is the principle of fair proceedings. It guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, those affected and employees who are involved in investigating the reported misconduct.

This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. We ensure that we do not take any measures to identify anonymous whistleblowers who do not abuse our whistleblowing system. Discrimination against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at Porsche Holding Salzburg will not be tolerated. Those affected are presumed innocent until the offence is proven. Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information is processed in a fair, fast and protected procedure.
