The decisive and aggressive lines of the Diavel V4 have also been extensively revised in terms of the technical components. Many characteristic features of the Batur are reflected in various parts of the motorbike. The forged rims - specially designed and manufactured for this motorbike - are reminiscent of the shapes of the Batur's wheels and are painted in Dark Titanium Satin, with some glossy turned surfaces omitted.
The side air intakes of the Diavel V4 take up the shape of the two-colour radiator grille of the Batur - probably one of its most characteristic elements. The triangular air outlets at the rear of the machine also refer to the corresponding components of the car. The front mudguard, the panelling and the view of the tank from above are reminiscent of the ribs at the front of the bonnet. Various design elements from the rear of the Batur can be found on the single seat, which can be replaced by a double bench seat. Many body parts - mudguards, headlight cover, engine, exhaust and radiator covers, radiator surround and side panelling as well as the rear section - are made of high-quality carbon fibre.
The driver's seat in black Alcantara was inspired by the interior of the Batur. The red fabric underneath, which also adorns the seats of the Batur, is visible thanks to the highly precise craftsmanship. The Bentley logo is embroidered on the rear seat upholstery. The twin exhaust and cover have been redesigned and now harmonise with the elegant lines of the motorbike.
The Diavel for Bentley Mulliner
In addition to the 500 Diavel for Bentley models, Ducati is also offering a limited series of just 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliner models. These 50 motorbikes will be available exclusively to Mulliner customers. In direct collaboration with the designers at the Centro Stile Ducati, they can configure their Diavel for Bentley Mulliner with different colours for the seat, the front brake callipers, the carbon parts and the rims. In addition, the body parts can be finished in the same colour as the corresponding Bentley - or in a shade from the exclusive colour palette put together by Mulliner especially for this special series.
The finishing touches
Like all Ducati collector's items, the Diavel for Bentley comes with a certificate of authenticity, a pillion seat and a protective cover. The name of the model and its production number are inscribed on a plaque in the carbon cover of the vertical cylinder head on the right-hand side of the motorbike. Both the cockpit, which is equipped with the "Turn by Turn" navigation software as standard, and the LED matrix of the rear light show a special animation when starting up to make the Diavel for Bentley even more distinctive. And finally, every Diavel for Bentley is delivered in an exclusive, customised wooden shipping crate.
In addition, the collaboration between the two manufacturers has also resulted in a dedicated clothing collection reserved exclusively for owners of a Diavel for Bentley. Customers can complete their look with a jet helmet and a functional jacket for men or women. All models from this collection are only available in limited editions and are characterised by a colour scheme that matches the motorbike.
The Diavel for Bentley is powered by the Ducati V4 Granturismo with 1,158 cc - a central design element and at the same time a highly developed technical solution. The high-torque but extremely light and compact engine with 168 hp impresses with breathtaking performance even at low revs and surprising agility. Together with the dedicated exhaust system, the twin-pulse ignition sequence creates a striking engine sound with a high recognition value.
This joint project is due to the fact that both Ducati and Bentley belong to the Volkswagen Group's "Progressive Brand Group", which also includes Audi and Lamborghini.
Compliance with legal regulations, internal rules, the principles of our Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for Business Partners is a top priority at Porsche Holding Salzburg. The success of our company is based on integrity and compliance. In order to live up to this claim, it is important to learn of possible misconduct by our own employees or those of our suppliers and to prevent it. We have therefore commissioned the Central Investigation Office to operate an independent, impartial and confidential whistleblower system for us.
An important pillar of our whistleblower system is the principle of fair proceedings. It guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, those affected and employees who are involved in investigating the reported misconduct.
This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. We ensure that we do not take any measures to identify anonymous whistleblowers who do not abuse our whistleblowing system. Discrimination against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at Porsche Holding Salzburg will not be tolerated. Those affected are presumed innocent until the offence is proven. Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information is processed in a fair, fast and protected procedure.
Qualified and experienced employees of the Central Investigation Office thoroughly check all reports of potential serious breaches of regulations by employees of the Volkswagen Group and systematically investigate them. Firstly, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The Investigation Office will then assess your report. This includes obtaining information from the whistleblower in particular. Only if this leads to an initial suspicion of a potential serious breach of regulations will a suitable investigation unit be commissioned to investigate the case. Once the investigation has been completed, the Investigation Office evaluates the results and, if misconduct is found, makes an appropriate sanction recommendation. You will be informed immediately about the processing status* of your report and the outcome of any investigation.
Potential violations of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners, including serious risks and human rights and environmental violations by direct and indirect suppliers, can also be reported to the Central Enlightenment Office. This also applies to other reports that require immediate action by the company. The Investigation Office informs the responsible departments, which process the matter accordingly. This includes, in particular, measures required to minimise or end violations and/or risks.
Further information on the rules of procedure for the Volkswagen Group's complaints mechanism can be found at here.
* The processing time may vary and depends, among other things, on the subject of the notice.
The whistleblower system offers various channels for reporting potential misconduct by employees or violations of the Code of Conduct for business partners in our supply chain that require a rapid review and - if necessary - a response from our company.
