Ducati Diavel for Bentley

Craftsmanship in a masterpiece on two wheels

A numbered edition limited to 500 pieces.

Ducati and Bentley jointly announce a new limited edition motorbike that celebrates the values of both brands - the Ducati Diavel for Bentley. The project, based on a collaboration between the two manufacturers, unites Ducati and Bentley in a vision of performance, craftsmanship and exclusivity. This vision has resulted in an impressive synthesis of technology, style and performance that will make enthusiasts dream. The motorbike will be unveiled tonight at a "Fuorisalone" at Art Basel Miami Beach, the American edition of Europe's most prestigious contemporary art fair.

The Bentley Batur as inspiration

Ducati has integrated characteristic elements of the Bentley Batur, of which only 18 examples were hand-built, into the sophisticated technology of the Diavel V4, which is as powerful as it is comfortable, thus creating a motorbike that is unique in terms of elegance and design. The Diavel for Bentley is being produced in a limited and numbered series of 500. A further 50 examples of the even more unusual Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner will also be produced. This model is reserved exclusively for Bentley customers and features the same high level of customisation as the Batur on which the motorbikes are based.

The Diavel for Bentley

The Centro Stile Ducati has created a new design for this special motorbike in collaboration with Bentley. It was inspired by the Batur and therefore gives a hint of the car's lateral lines. The Scarab Green paint finish is sophisticated, refined and rich in metallic nuances - a colour from the Bentley Mulliner palette that was used for all body parts.

The decisive and aggressive lines of the Diavel V4 have also been extensively revised in terms of the technical components. Many characteristic features of the Batur are reflected in various parts of the motorbike. The forged rims - specially designed and manufactured for this motorbike - are reminiscent of the shapes of the Batur's wheels and are painted in Dark Titanium Satin, with some glossy turned surfaces omitted.

The side air intakes of the Diavel V4 take up the shape of the two-colour radiator grille of the Batur - probably one of its most characteristic elements. The triangular air outlets at the rear of the machine also refer to the corresponding components of the car. The front mudguard, the panelling and the view of the tank from above are reminiscent of the ribs at the front of the bonnet. Various design elements from the rear of the Batur can be found on the single seat, which can be replaced by a double bench seat. Many body parts - mudguards, headlight cover, engine, exhaust and radiator covers, radiator surround and side panelling as well as the rear section - are made of high-quality carbon fibre.

The driver's seat in black Alcantara was inspired by the interior of the Batur. The red fabric underneath, which also adorns the seats of the Batur, is visible thanks to the highly precise craftsmanship. The Bentley logo is embroidered on the rear seat upholstery. The twin exhaust and cover have been redesigned and now harmonise with the elegant lines of the motorbike.

The Diavel for Bentley Mulliner

In addition to the 500 Diavel for Bentley models, Ducati is also offering a limited series of just 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliner models. These 50 motorbikes will be available exclusively to Mulliner customers. In direct collaboration with the designers at the Centro Stile Ducati, they can configure their Diavel for Bentley Mulliner with different colours for the seat, the front brake callipers, the carbon parts and the rims. In addition, the body parts can be finished in the same colour as the corresponding Bentley - or in a shade from the exclusive colour palette put together by Mulliner especially for this special series.

The finishing touches

Like all Ducati collector's items, the Diavel for Bentley comes with a certificate of authenticity, a pillion seat and a protective cover. The name of the model and its production number are inscribed on a plaque in the carbon cover of the vertical cylinder head on the right-hand side of the motorbike. Both the cockpit, which is equipped with the "Turn by Turn" navigation software as standard, and the LED matrix of the rear light show a special animation when starting up to make the Diavel for Bentley even more distinctive. And finally, every Diavel for Bentley is delivered in an exclusive, customised wooden shipping crate.

In addition, the collaboration between the two manufacturers has also resulted in a dedicated clothing collection reserved exclusively for owners of a Diavel for Bentley. Customers can complete their look with a jet helmet and a functional jacket for men or women. All models from this collection are only available in limited editions and are characterised by a colour scheme that matches the motorbike.

The Diavel for Bentley is powered by the Ducati V4 Granturismo with 1,158 cc - a central design element and at the same time a highly developed technical solution. The high-torque but extremely light and compact engine with 168 hp impresses with breathtaking performance even at low revs and surprising agility. Together with the dedicated exhaust system, the twin-pulse ignition sequence creates a striking engine sound with a high recognition value.

This joint project is due to the fact that both Ducati and Bentley belong to the Volkswagen Group's "Progressive Brand Group", which also includes Audi and Lamborghini.
