"The Urus Performante takes to the road as a lightweight, well-trained athlete. Its muscular appearance, its unmistakable design, its V8 biturbo engine and its lightweight sports exhaust make it the most exciting competitor on any road, any track and any surface thanks to its look, sound and experience. It is an SUV for super sports car drivers," says Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer of Lamborghini.
The output of the Performante has been increased by 16 to 666 hp and its weight reduced by 47 kilograms, giving it a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 3.2 kilograms per hp. The Urus Performante accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and brakes to a standstill from 100 km/h in 32.9 metres. It has a torque of 850 Newton metres at 2,300 to 4,500 revolutions per minute. With a top speed of 306 km/h, the Urus Performante sets standards in terms of longitudinal dynamics, which are complemented by its responsiveness, handling and stability. Its aerodynamic efficiency has been improved and overall downforce increased by eight per cent. Torque distribution is optimised by a new differential, which increases the transmission ratio from 3.16 to 3.4 under load and from 3.02 to 3.33 in overrun mode.
In addition to the Pirelli P-Zero tyres (dimensions 285/40 R22 and 325/35 R22), there is a further development of the Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tyres: for the first time, the semi-slick has been developed by Pirelli to meet the characteristics of an SUV, with this special variant being developed in collaboration with Lamborghini. The result of this cooperation is an even more versatile tyre that delivers top performance on dry asphalt at high ambient temperatures and on wet surfaces at colder temperatures.
Compliance with legal regulations, internal rules, the principles of our Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for Business Partners is a top priority at Porsche Holding Salzburg. The success of our company is based on integrity and compliance. In order to live up to this claim, it is important to learn of possible misconduct by our own employees or those of our suppliers and to prevent it. We have therefore commissioned the Central Investigation Office to operate an independent, impartial and confidential whistleblower system for us.
An important pillar of our whistleblower system is the principle of fair proceedings. It guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, those affected and employees who are involved in investigating the reported misconduct.
This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. We ensure that we do not take any measures to identify anonymous whistleblowers who do not abuse our whistleblowing system. Discrimination against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at Porsche Holding Salzburg will not be tolerated. Those affected are presumed innocent until the offence is proven. Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information is processed in a fair, fast and protected procedure.
Qualified and experienced employees of the Central Investigation Office thoroughly check all reports of potential serious breaches of regulations by employees of the Volkswagen Group and systematically investigate them. Firstly, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The Investigation Office will then assess your report. This includes obtaining information from the whistleblower in particular. Only if this leads to an initial suspicion of a potential serious breach of regulations will a suitable investigation unit be commissioned to investigate the case. Once the investigation has been completed, the Investigation Office evaluates the results and, if misconduct is found, makes an appropriate sanction recommendation. You will be informed immediately about the processing status* of your report and the outcome of any investigation.
Potential violations of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners, including serious risks and human rights and environmental violations by direct and indirect suppliers, can also be reported to the Central Enlightenment Office. This also applies to other reports that require immediate action by the company. The Investigation Office informs the responsible departments, which process the matter accordingly. This includes, in particular, measures required to minimise or end violations and/or risks.
Further information on the rules of procedure for the Volkswagen Group's complaints mechanism can be found at here.
* The processing time may vary and depends, among other things, on the subject of the notice.
The whistleblower system offers various channels for reporting potential misconduct by employees or violations of the Code of Conduct for business partners in our supply chain that require a rapid review and - if necessary - a response from our company.
